oops let's try again. I have been with Amtx for over two years. I have been pleased with RNG growth. CC operations, and improved ethanol efficiency. However the Riverbank project has become a major source of concern. According to the 5 yr plan there was to be a $100 million capital expenditure to get plant construction underway. currently amtx has almost zero cash on hand, and has not released any info as to status of any capital alliances for Riverbank. can anyone more knowledgeable than I, dissuade my concerns...

As Keynes once said, “When the facts change, I change my mind.”After making a lot of money shorting Aemetis, I have closed my position last week. The Federal Reserve has started lowering interest rates, which benefits a company like Aemetis with high debt and high demand for credit. In addition, I expect LCFS prices to rise further in the comming months. And last but not least 45Z production tax credits will start in January 2025.That’s why I closed my short position last week and purchased a significant number of shares....

CARB meeting on LCFS credits is in 49 days. Its advertised as if its for comments. My observation is CARB already knows what it wants, and the meeting is a formality.Will be interesting to see if LCFS credit start going up each day as we get closer to the meeting date. I understand there is a bank of credits that will need to burn off. I read speculation that the buyers will start to push up the credit prices and I've also seen the opposite (prices won't improve until 2025 when the bank is depleted)Per the 5 year plan, the big dollars for Aemetis and other RNG producers is the Z credit which starts 1/1/2025 People expect Z credit guidance from the IRS/Treasury after the election but before year end (required by law)...

In July Aemetis submitted 45Z registrations and is ready to sell tax credits starting January 1, 2025, but they are still waiting for the final tax rules to be issued by the IRS. These rules will determine how to qualify for the credits and how to calculate their value, which is why Aemetis is waiting for this guidance before moving forward.It's important to note that the $800 million of IRA investment and production tax credits that Aemetis expects to qualify for over the next four years is not solely related to the 45Z credit. Aemetis's upcoming quarterly figures could surprise positively. In the last three quarters (Q4, Q1 and Q2), Aemetis has only generated $79.8 million in revenue from their factory in India, despite having a $150 million OMC contract. To achieve the $150 million, Aemetis would need to realize $70 million in India alone in the current quarter. Given the recently increased production capacity, this might be possible. In addition, the price of ethanol has been relatively high in recent month, which could have a favorable impact on Aemetis. Aemetis' $150M OMC contract was announced on 10/30/2023 and was a yearly contract. My guess is that they have a big third quarter in India, but the contract is not fully delivered until October 2024 (and therefore part of the fourth quarter). I would also like to see an announcement of a $200 to $250M OMC contract based on the higher capacity achieved in India. We were at 50M gallons last year, which was increased to 60M gallons ahead of the $150M contract in September of last year, while stating they were in the process of an expansion to 80M gallons with a future targeted increase to 100M gallons.Also, from last year's $150M contract announcement: "Aemetis is the only producer that has delivered more than 99% of contracted gallons under prior OMC contracts."Good luck longs looking forward to 2027 and beyond....

On Z, the question will the IRS allow a negative carbon score similar to CARB in its upcoming guidance? Eric mentioned the issue on the last earnings call . Definitely a "we'll see" on the Z credits. One earning call, Eric said he sees a range from $7 to $99 per MMBTU for RNG for Z (its not a ITC like other credits AMTX sold and will sell). I spoke with a tax lawyer who says he thinks it will be about $65/MMTU for negative CI RNG. Big range.Depends on the IRS guidance which is required by the legislation to be out before year end. Seems certain the RNG will qualify, the big question is what about Keyes and what are the details for calculating the credits? There could be some reason Keye's won't qualify, but I have not heard one yet (its CI score driven) The Z credit is production credit that's earned as you sell qualified fuels (RNG, ethanol and other fuels) . Just finished breakfast with an accredited investors group. 5 friends all worth 8 figures and me with 7. Twice a year we present an investment idea. One is lowest risk than can triple within 5 years, another biggest 5 year upside. Today was my turn and I presented Aemetis as biggest 5 year upside (last year was ASTS). My baseline was that Aemetis current assets are worth conservatively $1.5 billion minus debt equals about a billion. That is value if liquidated today. Gave scenarios as Keyes+ RNG + India is worth up to $3 billion. With developed Riverbank SAF+ at least $5 billion, probably closer to $10 billion. Carbon capture is the big wild card. so, I got to talk to a short, he doesn't know anything, he's just thumping the same shortyeww drums. The talking points were very, very, very Matthew-like. I think I might have woken him up, maybe not, don't know him well. I can tell that from experience that some of these guys have no respect for bigger checkbooks. We should all know betting against a bigger checkbook is risky. I don't think the secondary shorts, which are the ones left, know they are hanging out there right now on their own. I'm pretty sure that the initial shorts, the guys who seeded the short market, those from the liquidity citadel, are gone, I think for now, maybe forever, as I think they covered into the follower shorts already. Interesting that 1m shares are available to short after a 10% rise.I always thought when a large number of shares become available for shorting after a rise in sp, it is an indicator that some short sellers are looking to exit their positions.For example shorts are willing to make their shares available for borrowing and shorting by other investors. This can increase the supply of shares available for shorting, which could drive down the price of the stock as more short sellers enter the market.20% up today?Could be wrong but..Let's go!...

Article in WSJ business section about big oil urging Trump not to gut the IRA tax credits if he wins. This would include the tax credits that are important to Aemetis like carbon capture. Aemtis will do better under Harris, but people are lobbying Trump to not go after some of the credits in the IRA if he wins....

I see GEVO and AMTX as clones. Same business model. REX, not so much. REX is way more ethanol dominant and is having regulatory issues in Illinois getting its class 6 wells connected (pipeline approval is a struggle for REX) AMTX has more "parts" that should provide more upside than GEVO. CCS project, India plant/IPO and almost 4X the targeted RNG...

Please be cautious of people advocating the purchase of calls on this name for the levered returns. They may be the same people trying to lower the cost in their shares with your premium.If this name takes off, the lightning from the change in equity price is all most will need. Weird Michael's truthfulness problem is that he started off on this forum in July of 2023 stating he was an 80 year old and of course opened with "How do I post?" So now he has to pretend he is still an even older man. And now recently he is posting even more... Here's the (revised) Carlos-Kirky Shortball Theory: certain characters at citadel have been manipulating our stock for several years (the bä$tárd$!) They were unofficially working together with some chicken-little beta-shorts - including of course Droopy. But now citadel has flipped long. They can see the tsunami of liquidity heading for small-caps, and they know there is a series of key catalysts about to be announced. So now they want to reap rich rewards as this grossly undervalued stock rises to its fair value of 15-20 Bucks. However, they (cough) "forgot" to tell Droopy and his bag-carrying cohorts about any of this. Kirk raised an interesting point. After looking back at the holders of Ametis stock and their filed 13F's there are signs of shorting activity in the data. Specifically, the fact that some firms held put options on Aemetis stock, with no corresponding call options, suggests that they were betting on the stock's price to decline. Additionally, some firms, like Susquehanna International Group, held a significantly larger number of put options compared to call options, also be a sign of shorting the stock. Remember when Maffew used to say the stock was not shorted. Nevermind his account and posts were all deleted for being a liar liar pants on fire as droopy says (aka Michael)....

The conjunct operations of Michael, MD841 and their underling, Bobby, (as well as Jennifer, "b", Matthew and a few others) are trying to confuse and misguide this forum about the future of Aemetis. Similar to (or possibly actually) Matthew in the past, these accounts post some empty analysis or retort each and everyday in an effort to appear positive and generally interested in the company; however, just like Matthew pounce on any negativity in an effort to promote their short selling campaign. From a post I made earlier this week:I calculate Max Pain for Friday's options at $3.84, requiring a huge share price move to hit; and (in case Weird Michael is still stalking the forum) is not likely to happen.However, that big of a delta in the current share price and Max Pain (or the price which would cause financial losses for the largest number of option holders at expiration) creates a lot of option winners. If you look at the long term charts of AMTX and GEVO, they have traded in similar ranges...over past 3 years they have been relatively on the same lines, with AMTX slightly outperforming GEVO over the past 2 years....until September when GEVO came off its floor. Yes GEVO had some big funding news, but alot of 'big' events have occurred to both stocks over the last 3 years. Currently the charts are experiencing a divergence not seen over the last 3 years, with GEVO recently far outpacing AMTX. I theorize this means one of two things. 1. Either GEVOs run is over, it will be flat or fall back to the low 2s, or AMTX will catch back up to at least 4 in the near term. If GEVO runs higher, AMTX should run back to the 5s. Next week is the week! On October 25, 2023, Aemetis announced that they had been awarded a cost-plus contract in India for $150 million.The factory in India has since been expanded and there is a good chance that Aemetis will receive a contract of $240 million to $300 million.This contract is also cost plus. Probably again with a margin of about 15% profit. This would mean that Aemetis India will make $45 million profit next year.Given that Aemetis India has no debt, is growing extremely fast and has a cost plus contract, the value of the factory in India is $400 million to $1 billion.This is extremely good news for the upcoming IPO. I want to correct a false statement made two days ago when Dr. Pinocchio aka Hugo stated that I had "gracefully compared GEVO and Aemetis" and I had also suggested they are similar companies. Nothing could be further from the truth. So, just REPEATING myself. If you were wondering about buying Jan calls cheap, I think you only have a little time left to jump wave of good news. Jmhodyodd Understand you do this with trading money. The way I do it is sell at the money puts and use the collected premium to buy out of the money calls. For example, sell AMTX $3 Jan puts and use premiums to buy AMTX $5 Jan calls and AMTX $7.50 Jan calls. Don’t feel like clacking reasons why, but you buy both calls so you can sell them incrementally as stock crosses $5 and $7.50....

What struck me most is that in his recent presentation he assumes that Aemetis will produce half of SAF's maximum capacity in 2026. Construction of a 90 million gallon SAF plant will take at least 18 months. Does that mean that Eric assumes that the financing of the SAF plant is almost complete?In addition, I also found it remarkable that Aemetis will use the money from the IPO in India for expansions in India. EVERY engineer, executive and private equity investor who spoke at Hart Energy conference said U.S. Lower 48 is up against peak oil production and will be able to hold it 5-10 years. They have already set a 9% reduction target for 2025, which is expected to quickly drive the LCFS price to $260. The last $150M OMC contract was based on roughly 40M gallons. The plant now has been upgraded to 60M gallons of annual production heading to 100 gallons. I am looking for the new OMC contract to be in the $200-225M range based on ~60M gallons.Good luck longs, looking forward to 2027 and beyond....

On the India contract and updates we got of the earnings call. I have no issue Eric said we'd get a new India contract within days and its taking longer than expected. Normal for people working on things to be optimistic on when things will get signed. Q2 Eric said almost nothing other than taking about Keyes margins which was worthless, and we sold off. This Q, Eric did a great job about taking about what to expect including why EB 5 hadn't funded. On EB 5 he blamed Biden's administration lack of enthusiams for EB 5 and said he expected the Trump administration to be more friendly and that we might even get something bigger than $200 million by the time it funds. 45Z starts 1/1/2025 and lasts for 3 years. I saw the post that said Eric said it might not happen. Not true. Its the law and in the IRC (internal revenue code) What is uncertain is when the guidance with the rules are released and how they will impact AMTX. By law the guidance is due before year end, but speculation is it may not come until January 20th.Word on the street is the IRS is trying to figure out what to do with RNG and its negative carbon score in the guidance. That's the hold up on the guidance being released by the IRS. To be clear, 45Z is a production credit that's earned for every BTU sold (24/7) starting 1/1/2025 at 12:01 am.AMTX will be able to sell the credits immediately or let them accrue to sell them up until its files its 2025 tax return in 2026. As of 1/1/2025 the 45Z credits will be money in the bank waiting to be sold for cash. Z credits are production credits (PTCs) like wind projects get not an ITC tied to spending.The issue about guidance is that until the guidance is out, AMTX will not know the exact number of credits accruing and it will be hard to sell the credits for cash until the rules are known.Not that different than LCFS that Eric mentioned on earnings call. OK, I have heard a bunch of comments about two weeks on the OMC. People just misheard Eric on the conference call from November 12, 2024. He said "within a few weeks" not two weeks!Here is the official transcript:"The positive impact of cost-plus pricing that is now being used by the OMCs to purchase biodiesel is expected to continue for the foreseeable future. Slowly, the pieces of the puzzle are starting to fall into place. A 2023 article shows that the Indian plant now has a capacity of 80 million gallons. According to Aemetis’ 5-year plan, the 80 million gallon plant could generate more than $400 million in revenue. The plan also shows that a “cost plus” contract on $400 million in revenue would result in an EBITDA of approximately $62 million. Phillip is correct, that there is a lot of trading that is happening in dark pools which are designed with a lack of transparency as their primary value, and inherently makes them susceptible to conflicts of interest by both their owners as well as the predatory trading practices by HFT firms.I do believe the published short information is indicative of the moves on the dark pools of trades that could be as big as the published short interest. The good news is that whether it is the published shorts or the dark pool shorts they are both subject to a short squeeze, and the retail shorts are all sitting in the published data, that cannot and will not be able to move as swiftly as the dark pools. On the Indian stock exchange there was a recent initial public offer (IPO) of Rajputana Biodiesel which received bids for 894,449,000 shares versus 1,385,000 shares being offered, meaning the issuance was over-subscribed by 645.81 times. Participation was broad among retail investors bids of 469,690,000 shares, non-institutional investors bids of 363,562,000 shares as well as qualified institutional investors bids of 61,197,000 shares. $41M, $34M, and $150M are the previous three OMC allocations for Aemetis' Universal Biofuels and $58M the current; and while the longs were looking for a bigger number, Eric McAfee's message was clear that there are additional allocations expected. My expectation is that they will be looking to use the expanded capacity to submit a larger OMC contract in advance of their IPO so as to provide the market with a press release right before the IPO announcement. The 10-1-2023 thru 10-31-2024 allocation was for $150 M which equals approximately 30 M gallons of Biodissel which equals $5.00 per gallon. We delivered $103 M of Biodissel which equals slightly less than 21 M gallons. I am surprised no one has questioned why we only provided about 70% of last years allocation. Also, last years allocation was a one time allocation for the entire year. I do not like the suggestion that we get $58 M now and $58 M, maybe, three more times later this year. The IPO, if there ever is one, should have no effect regarding ongoing business. Lastly, when the last allocation was awarded our capacity was 40 M gallons, which went up to 60 M gallons and I believe is up to 80 M gallons currently so we did not have any capacity constraints. My view is that IRA 45Z PTC is $300 million of cash flow in addition to increasing California Low Carbon Fuel Standard and federal Renewable Fuel Standard revenues. And, we get $20+ million of IRA investment tax credit cash in the next couple of months. And ongoing each year about the same amount as we build digesters. We are already positive cash flow from operations with low LCFS and RFS D3 RIN prices, so $76 LCFS price in 2024 increasing to $200 LCFS in 2026 is already a huge profit increase....

Being patient is the hardest part. It is (almost) certain that huge revenues are going to come starting q1. Most of you guys are well experienced investors and surely know how to handle stocks like this. But let me give an example where I learned a valuable lesson:In late 2020 only a handful of companies were able to develope and produce a vaccine against covid. One of the was a small German company called Biontech. Even when countries were ordering huuuge amounts of the vaccine, it didn't reflect directly in the share price / market cap. Future revenues were noted, at best, but Biontech skyrocketed not until the gigantic net profit was shown in their earnings. I'm sure all of you made many more experiences like this. It's just a reminder to stay patient and hold/accumulate. 2025 and the following years will be great! It just takes time......

E15 from waste is best for AMTX. Rest of U.S. might go broader based E15 under Trump, but in Cali, waste gets advantage from CARB. So, in world’s 6th biggest economy, AMTX is an oligopolist. FWIW, as of 2020, I own 1/3 of a 155 acre (farmer’s family kept 5 acres & homestead). We built a few greenhouses for organic produce & flowers. Have a small test orchard w peaches & nectarines (in Wisconsin), a pumpkin patch & snap beans. The rest is crop rotation, 2 of 3 years corn, can’t grow corn every year because it wrecks soil. If Trump increases E15, not much changes, except we make more $$$ selling corn & other stuff because farmers will pivot even heavier to corn to burn in place of FOOD. E15 is not good for climate, but it’s good for my pocketbook....

What has just transpired in the Indian IPO market this week. ? We know a small bio diesel company with 3 million gallon capacity was oversubscribed significantly and had over 1Billion $ in orders. Price on the exchange more than doubled. We also know there is another company with a reported 60 million gallon capacity (possibly 80 million gallon capacity) waiting in the wings. Im still bullish on AMTX. RNG, India, and US ethanol production all seem to be relatively on track with 5 yr plan. The Riverbank SAF project I have my doubts. According to the plan, by the end of 2026 plant production projected to be 44 mil in revenue. Thats a year and a half from now to turn a permitted big scale project into a working plant. I posted this response to “Jay” a year and a half ago about trading this stock on a short term basis as he like Michael seemed to be initially a genuine investor, how times have changed.“It is fine to have a stop loss and protect your investment based on your risk tolerance. Several articles chronicling what I talk about all the time - how shorts "gang up" on small caps. A short decides to short something (fine), tells his buddies (sure, fine), but then, they drop the info with a couple degrees of separation and plausible deniability to trading rooms who chest thump the trade to a room of know nothing cheerleaders with hyperactive clickers. That's why stocks get beat up, especially, small caps which don't have a lot of institutional buying yet. Believe that's what happens, because it IS what happens. No need to rationalize further about "what news" might push a share price up. When institutions start to buy, share price will go up. Period....

Tick Tick Tick = 16 days to IRC 45Z tax credits. Word on the street from DC lobbyists I've spoken with is we're going to get guidance as required by year end. We'll see. Treasury has made conflicting comments about if we'll get the guidance on time or not. For AMTX, it really doesn't matter. AMTX's 45Z credits will just magically start accruing 1/1/2025Will be a good news years toast "happy 45Z credits". AMTX RNG project is running and will get the credits as we toast the new year. Some entities are waiting for guidance to complete projects. Not the case with AMTX....

We'll need to see, but the credit is up to $1/gallon for ethanol with the right CI score. You need a low enough CI score to qualify at Keyes which may or not be possible. Not a given Keye's will qualify for Z which will be determined by the guidance that will be out any day, but if it does. Eager to see 45Z guidance. I've heard from multiple sources the guidance will be out later today. It's been a long waitTo the moon for AMTX. Seems unlikely,As Eric has said, it's not the end of the process when it comes out. The expectation is people will negotiate and improve things to get clarity once the draft is released.Guidance will cover SAF, but the credit expires in 3 years unless extended, so will not have immediate impact on Riverbank project. To the extent there is delay in knowing the rules, people are already lobbying for a one-year extension of 45Z because many companies held back on investment as they waited for the rules (guidance). I've seen this before where congress grants an extension due to in action by the IRS. Keep in mind the IRA passed on August 2022 and included a provision that said the IRS must provide guidance for 45Z by 1/1/2025. Not fun waiting for clarification, but a windfall for AMTX if we get an extension given AMTX's projects are running right now....

Seems like 45Z guidance is a home run, but I read the 45Z guidance last night for about an hour. We need to AMTX to let us know if it sees issues. The IRS says to use the BTU value of gasoline vs ethanol for non-liquid fuels. AMTX press release dated 12/17/2024 showed the conversion using ethanol at 11.7 gallons per MMBTU of RNG sold. Gasoline has more BTU's than ethanol, so the conversion rate is 8.7 not 11.7 (generates less credits). You can't run the DOE GREET model without project specific details, so we need AMTX to tell us what they get.Remain eager to see if Keye's CI score is low enough to get Z credits. AMTX registered and was approved at Keyes, so that could be a big deal....

AMTX and GEVO have both sold off due to disappointment with the Z guidance.The complaint from Senator Grassley has to do with not providing information on farming techniques that will impact the CI score for clean energy plants using corn and soybeans from Iowa. This impacts ethanol and bio diesel not RNG that uses cow pooh to make methane.We need the DOE's GREET model, but the rest is really not important to RNG>Nothing in the guidance is a surprise or bad for AMTX so far. Need the GREET model to confirm Eric's CI score assumption. GREET model will determine CI score and if we get the 8.5X multiplier in Eric's December 17th press release or its 1X. 1X seems unlikely but could happen. USDA released what appears to be Senator Grassley's guidelines for farming techniques to be incorporated into the 45Z guidance. Like I've said, Senator Grassley is a big dog in the Senate and when the Senator says jump, people jump. I don't see the USDA guidelines are linked to the Z guidance right now, but the commentary says that's the intent (IRS will include in final regulations for Z) No impact for AMTX RNG but could impact Keyes. My guess is without class 6 carbon capture at Keyes, it won't get the Z credits anyway. Just my guess...

I've been waiting for 3 years already. Seriously, why can't this company just get it in gear? Every year "the plan" (posted on their web site) just kicks the can down the road. In the 2022 plan, 2025 was to have $175.4m in income. In the 2024 plan, 2025 should have $15.5m in income. Do they hope that no one is looking at the previous documents? The claim in the India biodiesel article doesn't make sense as the plant has the approval to use animal fats as inputs to the making of bio diesel. THAT is why it's called bio-diesel. What a company.... they had over a month to disclose factory was under investigation for pollution violations, and a month to remedy the violation, prior to plant closure. No disclosure of concerns to shareholders. No disclosure of the terms of closure and necessary remedy (if any) to reopen. I've about had enough. I would like to believe in AMTX, but when all you hear about India is IPO IPO....and not a word about action which jeopardizes the entire operation, there is more than just a foul odor in India! ..The lawyers will begin circling like vultures if they do not put out a PR by tomorrow...

The news from India mentions that the Kakinada biodiesel factory has been shut down due to bad smell emanating from animal fat (tallow) which has been used in production. They also say that the factory produce edible palm oil which is not true. They produce biodiesel from used palm oil (and obviously tallow). Somebody have mailed AMTX and received answer about the factory having diesel stocks that will last a couple of months. Guess we will have to wait and see but I expect the company to issue a news release. Must be mandatory....

Fact #2, in his final days of office President Biden released several incentives tied to the Inflation Act. Word on the street is that 45z guidance and Greet model allow a negative score. Big for AMTX. Still waiting on Eric to confirmNo reply to my email to confirm Universal Biofuels is running. I looked to see if Aemetis submitted comments on the latest guidance (IRS Notice 2025-10). Comments can be found on the US regulation website. Seach 45Z I saw Eric's comments he submitted in November, but nothing new. Comment period ends April 10th.Erics prior comments was just the math of what he thinks Aemetis Z payments should be . If you look at the charts, there is a falling wedge pattern that has been accurate according to sp. Beginning since Nov. 12, this could go till first week, early March, hitting a sp of around $1.87. This is accurate considering there is ER Q4 in March…stay strong, if you are long we understand there is great potential on the horizon. Add to bags and stay strong, patience will be rewarded eventually....

the pod cast was helpful to get a window into what's happening at the company. Eric said the build out of RNG continues and he's working to secure 45Z guidance and an extension. Eric said he is irritated the Biden IRS/Treasury had 2 and 1/2 years and didn't do its job by getting guidance complete as required by law. The law required guidance by 1/1/2025 as a out date No comment on India shut down, but positive comments about AMTX's business in India. My feeling is the shut down in India is a lot about nothing and is normal (short term)....

Would be a good time to announce Universal Biofuels is up and running and timing for an IPO.Wishful thinking? I like to see what management is doing to determine if a company is worth investing in. In other words, are they focusing on what can they control and executing. Starting a list below:Staying abreast of rules and regulations and meeting with government officials. CheckInfluencing policy. CheckBeing a sound and responsible operator. CheckInvesting capital in worthwhile projects to improve output and/or lower cost. CheckHiring personnel that can best execute the plan. CheckManaging the finances of the company. Looking at the daily charts, lots of signals are turning green with a close above 2.10-2.15. MACD is turning upward from a deep trough. I show short, medium and long term support at 2.07. Resistance is 2.81-2.84. It looks to me like we have turned the corner. Time to bounce....
