I guess Dianne Garrett isn't going to sound the alarm that HYMC is out of cash in six months or less. Why should she, and especially after last weeks explosive rise in HYMC shares? Do you think Dianne can successfully dilute HYMC shares? We shall see. There will be huge emotions as gold breaks above $3000 and silver above $40. I'll bank those emotions on high quality active senior miners paying dividends. That ain't Hycroft....

There needs to be an investigation of brokerages to find out who is scamming the markets and how much each major brokerage sold in order to bring major indexes and indices dow so naked short players come atop once more just when rares are being cut. A very dangerous PRECEDENT is being created - a handful of stocks..the so called magnificent 7 were the only ones going up since 2021 and the overwhelming majority trading bellow value or near all time lows. If these people spook the markets to sell or crash, lotsa mid and small companies will come to Chapter 11, so a few well placed brokers and their firms will greatly benefit. So the only stocks going up are donors to the Democrat Party. I know September is lousy for stocks, but the fake rally like the one from November 2022 till now, I 've never seen. Since I was an extremely avid numismatist (coin collector), running my own small time mail order business at at age 12 when I sold rolls of Lincoln wheaty cents, I think it entirely possible that these one ounce Hycroft silver rounds will have collectors value in the future. Gaudy though they be with the twin images of Adam Aron and Dianne Garrett, it appears the Hycroft Online Store is now shut down. I don't know the total mintage on these Hycroft rounds, a very important question, but is unlikely more of these rounds will be made. Scarcity is everything in the rare coin market, as is condition, but obviously the Hycroft rounds are freshly minted. There is probably limited downside risk to buy a couple handfuls of the Hycroft silver rounds in the $45.00 to $50.00 area, even though that is well above spot prices. The big question is why the Hycroft online store suddenly shut down, even though it was a sort of bogus operation which cheapened the company's image. Gold hit $ 2708oz the other day. That's almost $ 1000 oz more than gold in October 2022. And yet...for the 1st time ever mining stocks are 25 to 35% above their all time lows. Nevere before seen phenomenon - gold at all time highs and miners just a bit over all time lows. Hycroft may be a shuttered mine, but it still somehow burns though $50 million cash per year. On June 30, 2024, HYMC had $58.5 million in cash on hand. By the end of 2024, HYMC will have approximately $33.5 million in cash remaining, but because of inflation, that figure is likely less than $33.5 million. Hycroft is also carrying a rather shocking $165.2 million in liabilities, which would be modest debt for a mine producing a profitable revenue stream, but Hycroft has zero revenue. The key question is when Hycroft is completely out of cash. My estimate is that Hycroft is out of money by June of 2025. How will this ticking time bomb be resolved? Share dilution? Has Dianne Garrett ever provided estimated per ounce recovery costs for gold and silver at the Hycroft Mine? No, she has not. Not once. Such statements might intentionally mislead shareholders, and they are grounds for civil litigation. All you have are core drilling results, subject to very wide parameters of interpretation. Never ignore that Hycroft mainly sits on extremely low quality ore, and you don't know how much rubble must be removed to get at what might be half decent ores grades. Hycroft was an open pit mine when in last operation years ago. Shaft mining is increasingly rare (and often makes groundwater systems toxic with metals like arsenic and lead), so the big Hycroft question is, how much rubble must be removed in an open pit to get at a profitable grade of ore? Dianne never answered that question either....

Can you imagine any bank or financial institution lending HYMC one centavo? Dianne would be laughed out the front door. What's the collateral for the loan? Core samples? Mining equipment which has already been sold? By the same token, no reputable Wall Street firm would be willing to underwrite a HYMC junk bond offering. This is why the HYMC lifeline, if there will be one, must come from share dilution. Meanwhile, Dianne is paying Eric Sprott a nosebleed 18.5% in annual interest on a private loan, and Sprott is fully protected by loan covenants. Sprott faces zero default risk. Dianne actually has less than 90 days to come up with a solution to the cash burn. These plans must be executed well before you run out of cash. Some stories are sick but true. Another buying opportunity for gold miners. Look, we are in a managed market (Compliments of the Fed). Throw out all that negative nonsense. Could say it all started back in 2008 when QE first kicked in. No DD, no price discovery, no nothing. Dow back then Dow was @6000. When the end comes, we could conceivably go back to 6000. At the same time gold could rise to 6000. A nice one to one ratio. Anything is possible. We shall see....

The US dollar has been remarkably strong, but only by default since the rest of the world is reflating. The common global theme for 2025 is rotten debt liquidation. That ought to send gold and silver much higher. The US junk bond market is a now ticking time bomb, and few ever discuss this direct threat, one that can lead to mass contagion. If you want to read a fascinating tale of mining stock corruption, do some research on a Canadian outfit in the 1990's known as Bre-X Minerals Ltd. $6 billion worth of Canadian dollars vanished, and not a single person went to jail. There's enough material here for a great movie. Just like Hycroft, Bre-X stock was pumped by nefarious core drilling results, but zero gold was ever mined. There is even murder involved. The lead Bre-X geologist "accidentally" fell out of a helicopter as the scam began to unravel. Believe it or not, most of these shell companies use a single address in a non-descript high rise in the Cayman Islands. About the only thing interesting in Winnemucca is a Walmart Superstore, which attracts business from a 150 miles circumference in all directions. Piddy, might I disagree with you re. the benefit to AMC regarding HYMC stock? It looks to me like AMC has done quite well. BTW, Adam Aron has a very successful career since leaving Harvard. If you look at the businesses he was with previously, they all prospered from his involvement. As far as HYMC is concerned, he is not a shot caller. Similarly, Sprott et. al. have done well via their actions with the stock. This is how the game is played....

As the $6 billion Bre-X scam revealed in the 1990's, in house core drilling samples are not to be relied upon, even though the SEC has tightened the rules. In the mining business, it is just too easy to skew results to attract capital from the stock market. This is a shell company that AA invested his cash in to possibly pay down debt on AMC but short saw through his plan. They've shorted this just as heavy as AMC and paid Lisa her salary to decide to implement a 5 year drilling plan. AMC now has millions tied up in worthless stock that worth less then his. What if the HYMC core samples are tainted? That is the oldest shell game in the mining business, and even more than one century ago. In the aftermath of Bre-X fiasco, which also wiped out many Americans, core sampling rules were tightened up by the SEC, at least on paper, but you are still relying on the integrity of the mining company. Part of a core sample is normally ground up for assaying and the precious metals separated for weighing, but it is SEC mandated that a large section of the original solid core be carefully identified and set aside for future verification. Nonetheless, there are just so many ways to fudge core drilling samples. If indeed Hycroft sits on profitable resources, another miner would approach Dianne for a partnership, because Hycroft has no capital to ever start active production. AMC stock was pumped yesterday by Roaring Kitty Litter, and Adam Aron diluted shares this morning. Talk about corrupt. AMC is currently down 9%. It would be wise to consider that Dianne might use this exact game plan, but the question is who will instigate the initial pump? A $500,000 buy order in one clean swoop is sufficient to juice HYMC shares. Never ignore that HYMC is out of cash in the second quarter of 2025. It is not practical to dilute at the current HYMC price because of Nasdaq minimum price listing rules. Dianne either gets this junk stock pumped or she enacts another reverse split pre-dilution. Obviously, YouTube is not a worthy source to make investment decisions, but it can be a good spot for new ideas, later to be sifted through by other sources, and other sources would certainly include the SEC 10-Q. filings. There is a younger guy whose YouTube name is Mining Stock Monkey. He may have not picked a good pen name, but he's very sharp, and what make him different that most is that his analysis is math based, and he is carefully studying numbers. The very fascinating aspect of high quality gold and silver mining stocks (which doesn't include HYMC) is that there is today only a very loose correlation between the mining stock prices and spot silver and spot gold prices. In other words, at current spot prices, mining stocks are severely lagging the metals, and zero spot price appreciation in 2025 is now priced into the stocks. This can mean only one of two things. Either gold and silver prices are grossly overvalued today, and must decline, or mining stocks must accelerate to reflect higher spot prices. I clearly believe in the latter thesis. The fourth quarter 2024 mining stock earnings reports will be quite interesting. One honest way to light a fire beneath a quality mining stock is to raise quarterly dividend payments. It is a rather entertaining exercise to visit eBay and see what prices they are asking for Hycroft one ounce silver rounds, minted of course with Newmont or Hecla silver, which are real mines. Someone is asking $5000 (or best offer) for a framed set of three 1'st edition Hycroft silver rounds, worth about $100 for the silver content. Another seller is asking $10,000 (OBO) for a single one ounce silver Hycroft round stamped with both the Hycroft and the AMC logos. The average run of the mill Hycroft one ounce silver round goes for about $60, so the premium over spot is still absurd. I sure wish spot silver would confirm today's big gold move. Silver is currently up only 0.41%, and lags gold big time. That is often not a good sign for gold. True, you don't want to read too much into a single trading day, but silver still needs to move up to a much greater degree. No worries in a longer term perspective because both gold and silver will explode higher this coming January/February. If the stock market crashes in 2025, and it will, you want to be out of gold positions while the dust settles. Margin calls in the market as a whole will hurt gold and silver. You want to sell and renter gold and silver at lower prices. Of course, I'm suggesting that you time the market with some element of precision, no easy feat. I never mastered that art form. Looking for a post that explains the bullish stance of any investor. Based on both the fundamental and technical analysis this stock appears to be just a short term trading vehicle. I don't believe they will ever make money, but there is a possibility of a pop from short covering, however, I doubt it....

Keep your expectations low on swing/day trading Hycroft. You are best to look to cover one to two months worth of grocery bills with each trade, and nothing more. This of course assumes you sell too early. You only make consistent money on junk stocks by selling too early. Always let someone else have the final coins. When you chase the high of any given leg, that's when the downside risk rises big time, and you cannot escape properly because the bid sinks like a lead zeppelin. Sell when others drool....

I'm not going to label B2Gold Corp, symbol BTG, as a high quality senior miner, but look at its outrageous dividend yield of 6.45%. I own 11,000 BTG shares. Do your homework carefully on this one. It is either another HYMC style hoax or the best thing since sliced white bread. Even an established company like Newmont is high risk/high reward. B2Gold is Newmont on steroids. Between December 30 of 2023 and September 30, 2024, the HYMC cash burn was the rather auspicious number of $186,666 per day. You tell me how a shuttered mine burns through that kind of cash. These figures are all derived from the September 30, 2024 10-Q report filed with the SEC. The September 30, 2024 cash balance was $55.8 million.
