Bristol Bay produces 45% of the world's wild sockeye. Why would federal or local government possibly jeopardize that to mine minerals that the US can buy from other countries and let them deplete their natural resources? Trump has allotted $1.5T for defense in 2027. It costs $6M a day to send one of those aircraft carriers around the world to sit and posture. Buying these minerals is so much easier than approving this mine. You folks on here are a small minority. It looks to me like there is bipartisan disapproval for this mine and the stock is going nowhere....

That CEO Ron Thiessen's statement this motning, "“We find it surprising..." is utterly infuriating. Reflective of, "Oh well, my salary continues..." Instead, the attitude should have been, this is a disaster for Northern Dynasty, our employees, our shareholders, and indeed for all of the nations being deprived of the absolutely critical minerals being onnce again illegally made unavailable. Shocking. Illegal for too long. Litigation will be increased on all levels. After perusing Gleason’s response to me it appears she’s literally tee’d it up for the revisions to the CWA to nullify the veto.I’m personally here for this thing to hit $50 on the blowoff when it happens. If it take another year or two that’s basically a 50x return.The downside is whatever comes from the takings case…….because the veto was illegal in the first place.Because this is categorically a speculative stock, you probably shouldn’t be here if you can’t afford a principal loss....

The amount of ore is quite fascinating. I don't believe NAK will be excluded in any attempt to bring ore to use especially in the era of EVs, chips (e.g., smart homes) which require certain mineral. I believe both sides will negotiate and find a common path soon. I'd like to keep my 5k shares (average 1.35) for long and accumulate slowly over time....

Now I'm no lawyer, but on reading the actual brief - the EPA is looking for far more expanded power and even the mine site map is far larger than Pebble has even dreamed. So, it seems this brief is designed for the court to find numerous reasons to limit EPA power and authority and remove the veto. As well as setting actual limits on the EPA by the courts....

Based a another pretty thorough review of the litigation against the EPA, the DOJ/EPA's primary statements and Judge Sharon Gleason's fair and unbiased judicial record I still believe the EPA veto will be overturned!However it makes no sense why the DOJ continues to fight this battle. It does not square with the administrations mining and development posture....

Already bouncing after hours. Some on here think this is just rotten fish and this stock may very well be that but the big miners did good last year. This year the juniors have been beating the entire market. I think NAK or any other small cap miners are going to make us some money in 2026. Am i holding long term? Timing matters. On February 12, EPA finalized major rollbacks narrowing federal air and water authority. Only three working days later, DOJ filed its summary judgment brief defending the Pebble veto. That brief was almost certainly drafted weeks earlier under the prior regulatory posture. It is unlikely DOJ had time to adjust its position to reflect the newly announced regulatory direction. The broader shift shows current EPA leadership is taking a more restrained view of federal authority. That context supports the argument that the Pebble veto should at least be reconsidered. Courts sometimes remand agency actions when policy interpretation materially changes. This does not guarantee reversal, but it clearly improves NAK’s strategic position....

I don’t find that surprising because that is the job of the EPA.Apparently, Ron thought it was going to be a slam dunk and it’s not a slam dunk.
