Maybe the chip factory is going better than expected and insiders/friends buying in, something like this kind of stock activity usually happens before major news is released/those in the know get in before news drops.Glad shorts made all that money past few years, looks like they're gonna need it to cover this time. QUBT has been a reliable short interest paradisiacal goldmine going on 4 years ~ ever since it dropped off its first cliff, Feb 2021. Most research firms concur: there is little to zero prospects that proper/ adequate monetization of QUBT could ever happen inside of 3 years ~ before 2028....

QUBT is solid losing bet going on 3 years running. They did not mention any monetary valuation with regard to the "award" or contract, Oct 2024, because ALL these types of contracts between NASA and QCi are worth only a few thousand dollars. Essentially they do it for publicity, name recognition, free advertisement. Assiduous research reveals it unlikely QUBT will arrive at anything resembling stability, profitability, or significant monetization for at least 3 years....

I think quantum computing will be heavily involved in AI in about 5 to 10 years. For now, the quantum/lidar tech and programming API QCI offers are very promising, especially after continual NASA contracts. I think NOAA will be another big client soon....

After watching QCI for a few years now, I really think things are ramping up. I could obviously be wrong, but the back-to-back PR's are new. I'm betting now is when larger investors start their positions. They've got a 5-contract track record with NASA, and I think the photonic chip foundry will be a game changer. I believe they are legit but the concern is more a matter of resources to be able to stay at the forefront. They are sitting on like $2M of cash and looking to raise another $40M. Even with the raise $40M is nothing for a company burning $2M a month and likely to have to increase expense to continue to grow. They have a shot to make it big but dont fool yourself they are threading a needle here. PLus $40M to Google, NVDA, AMD (or any of these companies) is noise its not even measurable....

If you want to bet against TFLN tech, and think NASA won't go for contract #6, and think Los Alamos isn't real.. and think January is too far away to wait for their chip foundry to be commissioned, and Q1 operational.. if you don't see the value, I don't know what to say. i invested in qubt very early on because I like the company and believe in their technology for securing a better future. i knew it wouldn't fly under the radar forever. it's good to see the company being highlighted for their tfln lidar and such, even though it now has a huge target on it for shorts, being in the spotlight hasn't changed its fundamental purpose and it will continue to shake the world of tech, and rush in a new era of innovation. things are indeed ramping up....

I think they proved 'something' here with their technology in QC arena...Hence, got the order for a CHIP. This is huge for a company that is in R&D for so many years with a small researchers. I had 500 stocks @ 0.90 and added 1000 after the news. I am aware that it could go to 'zero' but it has a potential to go to 500 in 5 years from now. I am OK with that risk-reward. Jokingly, I mentioned a few days ago that QUBT needed the latest capital raise to pay off Streetsville loan of 7.5 million coming due in February/2025 to be paid back at 750,000. per month. Please, logical answers only. Help me understand what's changed so dramatically from two days ago when the company floated a direct offering at $2.50 per share. The order to UT Austin didn't disclose a value. In other words, we have no idea what the booked revenue looks like from either of the last two orders to UT Austin. The stock doubled in two days. If that made sense two days ago, why didn't the company sell the shares directly for $5.00? Again, I'm just not sure what's changed other than a hedge fund or two acquiring the shares and then adding fuel so they could have a super quick exit.Not bashing, just intellectually curious....

If anybody might have noticed I got burned here good. Out of anger I bought a hundred shares here in the am at 3.88 just to kill the run because that’s just how it usually works. That didn’t succeed so I bought another 400 shares at five dollars and I dropped it in its ls tracks and it pulled back and dropped it down.nicely. now if the stock can actually pass five dollars with me owning it at five dollars I’ll be impressed. I’m simply because I didn’t think this thing would get back over three bucks. I was wrong....

I'm not a tech wiz, so I really would like to know more about this company in layman's terms.From what info I could gather so far, is that they sell the hardware, software and training for a more advanced computer system for schools. Now that the volume transaction for this week is really outstanding, we can see who’s who among intstitutional and mutual funds companies bought from 4$ to 6$ level. it was a software company and now they are trying hardware. Their revenue is less than $100K, and the contracts they are announcing with universities are likely quite low and just for basic research. The company has a market value of $700million dollars. It is just hype...., but who can call the top of hot air?...

It’s looking like I might have 400,000 rounds mostly 22lr sold and 2 top end raffles. I should have 30k cash to deposit going to add 2k shares pre market if it works out. Splitting it between qubt and qbts. both seem to have about the same momentum behind them. I plan on playing it smart. I’m hoping for a 200% run or so out of both and pulling out my investment capital and let 2/3 of the free shares ride in both companies for the coming years. That would leave me over 2k shares in qubt and If it turns into a power house in the coming years 2k shares would be nice on a $500 stock. but they both go kaput at least I got my money back out of it. I checked the QUBT website and the QBTS as well. They were both impressive. The only issue was QUBT had no job openings while QBTS has many openings. I bought 1,000 shares of QUBT on Thursday. Brokerages, like Schwab, just put out offers to QUBT shareholders to participate in its Securities Lending Fully Paid (SLFP) program for QUBT stock shares. This is the shake that I always tend to fall for just to watch it skyrocket. I got upset during the last shake sold loss with 6500 shares in the $3 range. I now have only 2400 shares having spent about the same amount of money for them all of this within a week or a little over. Let me be the example learn from my mistake. I just put a limit sell order @ $20 to prevent bears shorting my shares. If everyone does the same, it would make it difficult to short these shares. If it goes to $15, I’ll move the limit order to $25 and so on. I’ll never forget many years ago I put a limit order way out of the market and someone accidentally took me out. That was a quick $15 or $20 thousand profit in one day. That trader was sleeping or drunk or just a mistake....

If a Vanguard Index Fund is purchased, they believe quantum computing could be the “game of the year,” similar to how D&D Beyond has its defining moments. It feels like we’re in the early innings of an NVDA-style wave. I predict.. NASA should approve a larger budget for sensor equipment in 2025, see recent house hearing with Michael Gold. It is only testimony stating more sensors are needed etc. QCI is currently working with NASA using their quantum lidar tech. 5th contract. Matt13w agoI went to the Tempe, AZ building to do a little due diligence. The door was actually open. I went in and they actually gave me a tour. It is on track to be opened some time towards the end of the year. They are still assembling a large machine. To my surprise the CEO was actually there and took time out of his day to sit and answer some of my questions. I thought it was a great experience. I'm in. With $40million dollars I'm sure they are buying up all sorts of patents involving TFLN applications such as photonic monte carlo simulators, random number generators, optical diodes. Let's see, if me and my buddies received all 10M shares yesterday at $5, and then started selling during after hours trading, what would happen? I was in it for the long haul...but when the management does not belive in the company, I must think hard if I should either. I never sell when the stock is down but I made that exception today and sold my position at $6.30. Made some profit but I won't regret even if 'my decision turns out to be a mistake' because I have a very good resaon to get out of my position.I will consider buying when it drops below what the mgmt thinks it is worth. Market has handled this secondary much better than the one a month ago which was done at $2.50.A larger capital raise this time ($50 million vs $40 million), at double the share price of the previous PP ($5 vs $2.50), and a better market response to the dilution.This says investors are confident about the company's future and there is broad-based support. Today was also a good test of the $6 technical level. It stretched below and then rebounded, which is exactly how support levels behave in this algo-heavy era....

I would think since the coverage has been light on the smaller quantum companies, more coverage is more likely to positively impact buying, at least over the next few weeks / months....

Found a fascinating discussion on quantum computing and AI between two theorists, one from physics and one from computer science. Search for "Straight Talk on Quantum Computing" on YouTube.The most critical piece of information from the above for an investor is how close various QC technologies are to being highly scalable. The critical threshold for this is achieving 99.99% fidelity (computational accuracy essentially) with 2 qubits. Most quantum processor types currently are at 99.9% fidelity, which is one order of magnitude away from the critical threshold. This is very good progress, and is a level the achievement of which was still very much in doubt as recently as a decade ago.It is still not clear whether 99.99% fidelity can be achieved or whether some insurmountable technical barrier is encountered. So today’s action was fantastic. I just am concerned about this whole quantum computing. I lost my shirt on a company called Superconductor Technologies SCON. It was gonna be the next big thing in computing. Hopefully this will be a real company over the next few years with real earnings and income. The funny thing about QUBT press releases is that never mention anything about potential revenues. They get a couple of universities to try the foundry. They get NASA to try the Dirac3, but there is no info because the contracts are very small, and they will reduce much the impact of the news. SEC should have rules about these misleading press releases. All of them should have an indication of the estimated revenue effect....

A lot of shorts here that must have been burned. Congrats to all the longs that bought around the $1 range. The reason why NASA has been working with QCI is that their TFLN chip is being used by NASA for quantum lidar applications, related to weather and global warming. The reason NASA is using QCI’s Dirac3 computer is for the computers ability to process radar imaging at a level no other computer can process. Investing in quantum computing is pretty much the same like investing in nuclear power. It will take years for any of this type of companies to play major role in respective fields, not to mention any real financial gains for company or its stacks holders. Talk about this position going to $50, $70, $100 or more is funny from financial point. On the other hand I have seen some pretty crazy stuff so never say never....

ok, so QUBT got a small contract from NASA, but that's just for a quick trial of extracting image from radar generated info. once complete and successful, it gives way to a bigger contract. Anyone here has trade bio pharmaceutical before, it's like phase 1, 2, 3 until FDA approval, and this is how it is with Q. computer....

I bought most of mine between 0.80 and $1. I sold all today because Riot and All blockchain stocks are guaranteed every 4 years to hit new highs. Riot last ath is $86 if BTC does what I am sure it will Riot and CAN are safer plays and guaranteed just look at the charts it happens every 4 years just like BTC. QUBT with th backing of NASA is huge! Your tax money will be put to good use. I worked at IBM and had to be certified in tri-state technology. This new technology, which is more than 10 years in making, will replace bi-state chips. Why? Simply look what bi-state wafer/chip will be produced after after 3 nm copiers of ASML machines? This isn't a quantum computing company, they do not have a quantum computer, there is no ion trap, no superconductivity, no qubits, nothing. There is no revenue, no future. I believe Main Street investors will calm down soon and realize that DeepSeek is actually a great catalyst for the AI boom. In the past, only big players with deep pockets monopolized the space, with NVIDIA being the monopoly in AI chips. DeepSeek has made their code open-source, demonstrating that it's possible to build a great model with less than 1% of Meta's costs. Moreover, DeepSeek doesn’t require NVIDIA chips, opening doors for AMD, Intel, and others. This should be a great development for the industry. So much reading. News this morning talks about Process Design Kits(PDKs) and runs on an open-source platform, good for developers and computer engineers. The PDKs can be adopted across commercial and research sectors allowing users to design a variety of complex systems, including photonic circuits. Good examples would be Optical coherence tomography(imaging that uses light waves to visualize tissue layers), Glucose monitoring, cardiovascular disease screening, pathogen microscopy, and Brain cell stimulation tapping billions into the medical market cap industry alone. Intuitive - few research projects I am working on 1. High priority - Fintel institutional holdings page, the put/call ratio graph is concerning. It shows way more calls than puts being bought. I am trying to make sure I am understanding correctly. It seems as if insititutions are buying a disproportionate amount of calls during the last 3 periods. This is concerning as this could mean they are using them as a hedge for massive short positions. 2. Jim, The file date usually indicates when the institution reported their holdings. It often reflects the holdings as of the report date, but the actual holdings could be from an earlier period. So today’s file date might mean they are disclosing holdings from a previous date. What is concerning to me is when a dip takes place an institution is automatically listed instantaneously. I tested the fact today with the algorithm with my purchases on the dips without disclosing. I’m going to break the corruption and break the matrix for the longs and expose it all on X! Bring it on! A poster here stated that he visited the foundry site, was admitted, and given a tour of the “foundry” by the founder himself. The poster stated that he saw a new piece of equipment being installed. No mention of a clean room environment. Semiconductor manufacturing requires an ISO level 6 clean room environment at a minimum. Did the poster have to don a “bunny suit” and enter through an airlock? If not, it’s not a semiconductor grade clean environment. Even the smallest contamination will cause initial or early failures in semiconductors. Office “table top” lab setups are not semiconductor foundries....

Rockefeller capital management buying 800,000 shares happened in Q4 2024. They did not actually buy when they filed this week. If you investigate a little further, the holdings data says “as of December 31, 2034”. This means they bought on any date from October 1st 2024, to December 3, 2024. All of the institutional filings you are seeing happened last year during 4th quarter, with an entire month of price being under $1.00 in October. I’m just as excited as the bulls on this one, but we can’t acting like institutions are still accumulating definitively. My old lady retired from a financial bank years ago and managed IRAs, Roths, and 401k. The big banks which come in stay in and borrow against the assets and hardly ever sell. They don’t play kids and neither should you all. They keeping this down for a reason. My old lady has MS and I have Lupus, this technology can heal the sick. Intuitive - I am still super skeptical about the institutional investors. Vanguard only bought for total market funds, and I think the same is true for black rock. I also believe a ton was from trading firms and market makers, hence a lot of them buying options. BUT: Anson funds, which manages nearly 1 billion dollars, has QUBT as their third largest holding! I just read the Intel news drop, A news report the prior week had indicated that the US was floating proposals to TSMC to support Intel’s turnaround. One of the proposals would reportedly establish a joint venture between TSMC and Intel, in which TSMC would send engineers to Intel to ensure its manufacturing business is viable. The chip wars are just beginning. The other research I read last night hinted at quantum computing for future IOT adoption and integration with their transitioning outlook.
