Things J.L. Crespo is doing- Material handling fcel 30% tax credit; electrolyzers with 30% tax credit, hydrogen itself with 3$/kg, Galp and UK in execution, Canada, Australia, Uzbekistan, Denmark, Finland projects close to FID's, green amonia and e-Saf projects is getting momentum. Walmart and Amazon will do onsite electrolyzers after this oil, LNG and electrical grid crisis faster than expected. In the past I said that Plug is not data center player- after I had a look into the American electrical grid, I would say even here we PP has chances. Good luck for everyone. We have serious doubts this so called ceasefire will happen. Iran will continue to drag out its requirements for peace and very soon Trump will decide to persuade them a bit by darkening Tehran. Here’s the real breakdown of where Plug Power Inc. is actually losing money—and it’s not evenly distributed. The losses come from three main buckets, **and one of them clearly dominates.** 🧠 The big picture Plug Power is trying to build a **fully integrated hydrogen ecosystem** (produce hydrogen → deliver it → use it in fuel cells). **That strategy is exactly why the losses are so large:** - They’re **investing heavily across the entire value chain** - But **none of the pieces are strongly profitable yet** 🔴 ***1) Hydrogen production & fuel (the biggest loss driver)*** This is the **core problem area**. Why it loses the most money: - Producing green hydrogen is **extremely expensive** - Plug has historically **sold hydrogen at a loss** under long-term contracts - It previously had to **buy hydrogen at high market prices**, then resell it cheaper Evidence: - The company’s margins were deeply negative (as …...

## **$PLUG 🔥 Hydrogen Demand Is Hitting Record Highs** 🌍 **1. Global Energy Disruptions Are Forcing a Shift** Middle East conflict is reshaping oil and LNG flows, especially through the Strait of Hormuz — a corridor that moves up to 30% of global oil and 20% of LNG. With supply routes unstable, countries dependent on imports (Europe, Asia) are accelerating hydrogen adoption as a long‑term, secure alternative. ⚡ **2. High Fossil Fuel Prices Boost Hydrogen’s Appeal** Geopolitical risk premiums are keeping oil and gas prices elevated. That volatility is pushing governments and industries toward renewables and hydrogen as a strategic hedge against commodity swings. 🛡️ **3. Energy Security Is Now Priority #1** The conflict has triggered one of the largest oil supply disruptions in history. Governments are rethinking energy strategy, and hydrogen — especially green hydrogen — reduces reliance on imported fossil fuels while strengthening national resilience. 🔧 **4. Policy …...

What most on WS and on this board know that hydrogen is badly needed to produce ammonia which is needed to produce ammonium nitrate used widely all over the world as fertilizer, a massive global need! The latest large contract PP obtained is precisely for that industry. If PP captures that market, because increasing in the EU nations due to non-pollution mandate, the need for green hydrogen production and regular supply will create a stable huge market for PP. PP doesn’t need AI data centers. Yhat need will be fulfilled mostly by nuclear power plants with grids within one or two [decades.at](http://decades.at) the most because now the technology for breeder reactors producing more fuel than it uses and, hence, heavy cost of storage and disposal of the partially burned fuel rods used in the older plants will be reduced substantially to a very small cost comparatively. **$PLUG 🔋🔥 Hydrogen Gets More Valuable When the Strait of Hormuz Gets Risky** When the Strait of Hormuz heats up, the entire global energy market feels it. Nearly **a third of the world’s oil** and a massive share of LNG flows through that narrow corridor. Any tension, slowdown, or disruption instantly sends shockwaves through fossil‑fuel markets — and that’s exactly where the bullish case for $PLUG strengthens. 🌍 **1. Energy chokepoints make hydrogen more attractive** When oil and gas routes become unstable, countries and industries look for alternatives that *aren’t* tied to geopolitically fragile shipping lanes. Hydrogen — especially domestically produced hydrogen — becomes a strategic asset. $PLUG sits right in that lane. 🔋 **2. ## ⚡ **$PLUG, AI, and the Data‑Center Power Crunch** AI is creating the biggest energy bottleneck in modern history. Data‑center electricity demand is projected to hit **6.7%–12% of all U.S. power consumption by 2028** — and that’s forcing hyperscalers to look beyond traditional grids. This is where **Plug Power** is trying to carve out a role. 🔋 **1. Plug Power is pitching hydrogen fuel cells to hyperscalers** Plug Power has been promoting hydrogen as a **backup‑power and peak‑load solution** for AI data centers, with pilot projects including a **3MW system for Microsoft** demonstrating technical feasibility . They’ve publicly highlighted partnerships or pilot work with: - **Microsoft** - **Amazon** - **Google** These companies are all facing massive power‑supply constraints as AI workloads scale. ⚡ **2. AI’s power crisis is real — and PLUG wants to be part of the fix** Nvidia’s Jensen Huang and Microsoft’s Satya Nadella have both said that …...

A *scaled, multi‑site agreement* would instantly re‑rate PLUG as an **AI‑infrastructure provider**, not a hydrogen stock. Why it’s the #1 partnership: - Microsoft is leading the AI arms race - Azure data centers face massive power shortages - Hydrogen backup + on‑site generation solves a real bottleneck - Wall Street values AI‑infrastructure at tech multiples, not energy multiples A full‑scale Microsoft deal would be Plug’s “Nvidia moment.”...

Ask AI the following: In light of the fact that the electrolyzers in Plug Power's Georgia plant receive electricity from the grid, and scientific fact that a load placed up a grid is met by all the generating coapacity of that grid can the hydrogen produced there be considered truly green, in the sense that is production does not cause CO2 to be emitted into the atmosphere? Yes or No?...

The hydrogen that Plug produces in Georgia results in twice as much CO2 emissions as hydrogen produced from Steam Methane Reforming. If Plug's electrolyzers were connected directly to a clean electricity source this would not be the case, but they are hooked directly to the local grid, which is 60% powered by fossil fuels. Plug pays a fee for Renewable Energy Certificates, which the US government recognizes as a license to pollute....

Georgias grid depending on region is fed by no less then 3 separate sources at any one time. There is a CO2 load weight on Georgias power . You have to find it by analyzing what percentage of what source is being used at any point in time according to the sources allocation . Since most of Georgias power is from Nuclear plants that is brought in from possibly two other states I’d say jacks statement is totally false. Also BTW Florida purchases nuclear power from Georgia and Georgia buys nuclear power from Florida and as well -floridas Duke Energy and Florida Power are converting to Hydrogen power turbine generators Today. They are also incorporating 20,000 acres of solar panels on land on roofs and in retention ponds....

Now Jack please explain how Georgia that gets over 68% of its power from nuclear power plants does not have cleaner power then let’s say some of the cleanest coal plants in America have that’s located in West Virginia. Trump rebuilt the 3 Big coal plants with 500 million first term to give them cleaner emissions reduction but not anywhere near as clean as Nuclear or Natural Gas. Nat Gas can be very clean almost 100% but its catalyst that scrubs the exhaust is prohibited because of cost. Your statement about steam reformation is also misleading and misinformation. It can also be a much cleaner process if the plant uses singularity in its process with tri-level catalysts and scrubs the CO2 and captures it. This is what British Petroleum snd Shell (Dutch) is doing to sell a synthetic green hydrogen with (0) emissions in the stream. Jack these chemical processes …...

'Certified green' and 'green' are two different animals. Certified green = license to pollute. Green = no pollution. So yes, Plug might be certified green and might be licensed to pollute, which it does. I am not arguing that Plug is not qualified to receive the $3 PTC.
